Gemma is a biologist (Pompeu Fabra University) with a master’s degree in education (UPF-UOC) and a doctorate in science teaching (UPF). For years she has worked on developing strategies to foster creativity and critical thinking in higher education students through inquiry and active and collaborative learning methodologies. Likewise, she has worked as a pedagogical advisor in the development of educational materials and facilitation guides in several European Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and Collaborative Research projects. One of her professional passions is teaching, so Gemma has worked as a university and high school teacher for many years.

At Science for Change, Gemma will apply all her knowledge of science education to design, co-develop and implement Higher Education programs focused on Citizen Science and Participatory and Inclusive Science.
