Science For Change (SFC) is a knowledge-based and consultancy enterprise that addresses social, environmental and health challenges through co-creation, collaborative research and citizen science towards social innovation. We manage a diverse portfolio of projects funded by European programs such as Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, as well as other National, Regional and Local funding schemes, such as international, national, regional and local Public and Private Calls and Tenders. We also have a portfolio of private innovation consultancy projects. Our fields of expertise are many, from sustainability, circular economy, and territorial monitoring, to health, and social sciences and humanities, including the arts. We involve the public in the research process in all our projects to co-produce new knowledge, co-create innovations accepted by all, and inform public policies to improve society. We are looking for a proactive Digital Marketing & Communications Officer to drive revenue growth through the strategic use of digital marketing channels. Reporting directly to the Administrative and Financial Manager and working closely with the Communications Area, this role will leverage the company’s digital assets, content from the communication area, website, and social media platforms— to maximize lead generation, conversions, and ROI. The ideal candidate will focus on SEO, SEM, and performance-driven campaigns to turn digital engagement into measurable sales outcomes. Role and Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

Revenue-Focused Digital Marketing:

  • Develop and execute campaigns aimed at monetizing company products and services.
  • Optimize digital channels to maximize revenue and ROI.

SEM & SEO Campaign Management:

  • Implement and optimize paid search (SEM) campaigns to drive targeted traffic and leads.
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts for SEO to increase organic visibility.
  • Use analytics to continuously improve paid and organic channel performance.

Digital Asset Utilization:

  • Leverage content of communication to create engaging, sales-oriented campaigns.
  • Coordinate social media, website updates, and digital advertising to ensure cohesive messaging aligned with revenue goals.

Marketing Funnel & Lead Conversion:

  • Design and manage the marketing funnel to guide leads from first contact to conversion.
  • Track lead behavior and implement strategies to improve conversion rates.
  • Support lead nurturing initiatives to maintain engagement and encourage repeat business.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Monitor KPIs such as traffic, engagement, leads, conversions, and ROI.
  • Propose data-driven optimizations to improve campaign effectiveness and sales performance.

Visual & Copy Assets:

  • Support the creation of campaign assets (social posts, emails, landing pages) that drive conversions.
  • Ensure messaging is persuasive and aligned with sales objectives.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Digital Marketing.
  • Professional proficiency in Spanish, Catalan, and English.
  • Experience with SEM/SEO, digital advertising platforms, and analytics.

Technical Skills

  • Paid media management (Google Ads, social ads).
  • SEO optimization for websites, blogs, and landing pages.
  • Email marketing and lead nurturing tools (Mailchimp or similar).
  • Copywriting and basic visual content creation (Canva or equivalent).
  • Analytics and reporting: understanding of KPIs, conversion tracking, and ROI.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Data-driven and proactive mindset: able to translate insights into actionable campaigns.
  • Strategic thinking: focus on driving measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Collaborative: works closely with marketing, communications, and operational teams.
  • Purpose-driven: motivated by using digital marketing to generate business impact.
