The Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) will hold its Annual Conference and General Assembly 2025 on March 21-22 at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland. The central theme of the conference will be “Research and Innovation in a Rapidly Changing World,” addressing the fundamental role of science, innovation, education and lifelong learning in shaping an ever-changing society.
The conference will address key topics such as the introduction to citizen science and the ECS Network of Researchers for Citizen Science (NR4CS), the integration of citizen science within research culture and its wider impact, the presentation of citizen science projects in different fields with real-world impact stories, the importance of citizen science policies and their influence on research, and competency frameworks for citizen science, highlighting essential skills, values and knowledge for researchers and practitioners at various levels.
