Project Management Officer (PMO)
As the PMO at Science for Change, Jole is responsible for the comprehensive planning, coordination, and oversight of international projects funded by the European Union.
She has a multidisciplinary background in urban resilience and sustainability governance, built upon her training in architecture and urban planning, and developed in international contexts related to the ecological transition. Her experience integrates applied research, public policy, and social innovation, with a special focus on climate change adaptation, energy transition, citizen participation, and the social and solidarity economy.
Throughout her professional career, she has contributed to the development of European projects focused on urban sustainability, addressing topics such as resilient planning, institutional capacity assessment, and collaboration across different levels of governance. She is a member of the Urban Resilience Research Network and has been involved in initiatives promoted by international networks of local governments, as well as cooperative proposals focused on community-based housing and energy models.
Her interests focus on just urban transitions, democratic innovation, and the articulation between technical knowledge, citizen knowledge, and institutional action, exploring new forms of cooperation between the public, community, and scientific spheres.
