He holds a PhD in Social and Legal Sciences from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, a Master’s degree in Usability, Interaction Design and User Experience from the Universidad Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona School of Management) and a degree in Audiovisual Communication and Journalism from the same university where he obtained his doctorate.

Currently, in addition to his activity at Science For Change, he is an associate professor at the University of Design, Innovation and Technology of Madrid, where he teaches in the bilingual degree of Multimedia and Graphic Design in the Department of Audiovisual and Graphic Creation. He is a member of the Ciberimaginario research group on scientific communication in the Department of Communication at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, and technical editor in charge of the final edition of the thematic section on interactive and immersive communication in the scientific journal Icono14 on communication and emerging technologies.

His area of specialisation is scientific communication, with a particular focus on interactive multimedia formats and user experience. From this perspective, he has applied her knowledge in areas such as sustainability, circular economy, public health, disinformation or citizen science. His research Torres Quevedo, which he develops in Science For Change, focuses on the evaluation of the effectiveness of data visualisations in extended reality environments oriented to the different audiences of the quintuple helix.
