Mireia graduated in Human and Health Sciences from Loyola Marymount University (CA, USA), with a Master’s in Migration Studies (UPF), and is currently continuing her education, taking a Master’s in International Health and Cooperation (Autonomous University of Barcelona).

She has experience in international cooperation social and health projects in Mexico and Mauritania. She has also worked in the rare diseases sector, strengthening collaboration networks between different agents and patient entities in Spain and Europe.

Mireia is interested in social inequalities, their causes and how they affect the right to health of citizens, focusing on the most disadvantaged groups. At Science For Change, she will provide her knowledge, energy and know-how to citizen science projects, among them GOLIAT and ECS.
