Sergio is a postdoctoral researcher in food systems and sustainability and the leader of the Sustainability Area at Science For Change. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics and Sustainability, a Master’s in Rural Development, and is an Environmental and Development Engineer. He has 10 years of experience in project implementation and applied research in food systems and sustainability in Europe, Africa, and Latin America. His research area focuses on the evaluation and development of agri-food projects and policy analysis. In addition, he actively participates in youth advocacy and engagement in food systems policies.
