Do you want to create your communication plan but don’t know where to start? With this service, which includes consultancy and a series of participatory workshops, we assist you in defining the communication plan for your team, project, or organization.
First, we will focus on your needs, your environment, and your target audience(s) to establish the necessary context before beginning the process. Through role-playing or co-creation with representatives of the identified stakeholder groups (e.g., academics, the public sector, the private sector, the general public – often referred to as the quadruple helix – and also journalists), we will conduct a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) supported by creative techniques to identify mutually beneficial opportunities. Subsequently, we will work on messages, channels, specific actions, and indicators to monitor their impact.
The materials, methodologies, and knowledge used in this service are based on international standards that reflect the state of the art in scientific communication.
This service is the outcome of the European project NEWSERA, where we collaborated with 39 citizen science projects in Spain, Portugal, and Italy, involving more than 140 stakeholders. Furthermore, the methodology used received an award at the “From Science Communication to Engagement in Citizen Science” conference at Aarhus University in 2022.
